∎ Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT consultancy or leadership roles, preferably in banking or microfinance.
∎ Proven experience in implementing or advising on core banking systems, mobile banking, or enterprise IT architecture.
∎ Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, digital onboarding, and financial software compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
∎ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
∎ Prior experience working with financial inclusion institutions or development banks will be a strong advantage.
∎ Familiarity with Bangladesh’s financial regulatory environment
∎ Understanding of inclusive digital financial services
∎ Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
∎ Experience with cloud architecture, API gateways, and microservices

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Digital Strategy Development: Assess the bank’s existing IT infrastructure and develop a roadmap for digitization, automation, and cybersecurity enhancements.
∎ System Design & Implementation: Recommend and support the design of core banking solutions,
∎ mobile and agent banking platforms, MIS/DWH systems, and API integration strategies.
∎ Cybersecurity & Compliance: Review existing cybersecurity posture, recommend updated policies and
∎ controls in alignment with Bangladesh Bank’s guidelines, and ensure data privacy best practices.
∎ Process Automation: Identify areas for business process reengineering (BPR) and automate manual
∎ workflows in loan processing, reporting, and monitoring.
∎ Vendor & Technology Evaluation: Assist in evaluating, onboarding, and managing third-party IT
∎ solution providers or partners.
∎ Capacity Building: Conduct workshops for in-house IT and operations teams on modern tools, security,
∎ and digital service delivery.
∎ Grameen Bank is embarking on an accelerated digitization and automation journey to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and strengthen data security. We seek an experienced IT Specialist to support this transformation by assessing current systems, proposing scalable digital solutions, and overseeing implementation aligned with the bank’s mission of financial inclusion.
