Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Studies, or a technical discipline.

  • Basic training in store management or warehouse operations is preferred.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum 2–5 years of practical experience as a Storekeeper or Inventory Officer

  • Prior experience in light engineering, electrical accessories, FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer durable industries is preferred.

  • Experience handling raw materials, finished goods, spare parts, and packaging materials is desirable.

  • Familiarity with manual stock registers and basic ERP or inventory software is an advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials, spare parts, and finished goods as per approved documentation.

  • Ensure proper storage, stacking, labeling, and identification of materials within the store.

  • Issue materials to production, maintenance, or dispatch teams against authorized requisitions.

  • Maintain accurate stock records (bin cards, stock registers, ERP entries) and ensure daily updates.

  • Follow FIFO/FEFO principles to prevent stock aging and material deterioration.

  • Assist in physical stock counts, cycle counts, and annual inventory verification.

  • Report stock shortages, damages, excesses, or discrepancies to the Inventory Supervisor.

  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the store area at all times.

  • Support dispatch and loading activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

  • Prevent loss, damage, or pilferage through strict store control and discipline.

  • Maintain proper documentation for receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.

  • Comply with company policies, safety guidelines, and internal control procedures.

  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and inventory teams for smooth material flow.
