Additional Requirements:

  • Fluent English Speaking Skills.
  • Strong understanding of export procedures, Incoterms, shipping documentation, and international payment methods (LC/TT).
  • Ability to identify global market trends, buyer preferences, and competitive landscape in the handicrafts industry.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, SEO, Google Ads, and social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest).
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with international buyers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Strong command of business English for emails, virtual meetings, presentations, and international correspondence.
  • Creative ability to showcase handmade products through professional catalogs, storytelling, and brand positioning.
  • Familiarity with natural and handmade materials like Jute, Seagrass, Hogla (Wild Grass), Cane / Rattan, Bamboo, Palm Leaves / Date Leaves, Sabai Grass, Water Hyacinth, Coir (Coconut Fiber), Straw, and traditional fabrics.
  • Skilled in using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and tools like Excel or Google Sheets for sales tracking and client management.
  • Experience in participating in international trade shows, organizing booths, interacting with buyers, and managing product displays.


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Identify and explore new global markets for Bangladeshi handicraft products, focusing on North America, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific regions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets through B2B, B2C, online platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, etc.), and international trade shows.
  • Build and promote the company’s brand image in the global market through digital marketing, social media, catalogs, PR activities, and partnerships.
  • Acquire new international clients (wholesalers, importers, retailers, designers) and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing ones.
  • Coordinate with logistics, production, and export teams to ensure timely shipment, accurate documentation (LC, COO, Invoice, Packing List), and compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Conduct global market analysis, monitor trends in design and consumer preferences, and provide input to the product development team for new product lines.
  • Lead global digital marketing campaigns, SEO/SEM, and manage international online store performance, including customer experience, return handling, and reviews.
  • Represent the company in international fairs, exhibitions, and virtual B2B meetings to promote product lines and close sales deals.
  • Guide and train the sales & marketing team on export market dynamics, pricing, negotiation, and customer service excellence.
  • Analyze sales data, prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management, and provide market forecast insights to support business decisions.
