Responsibilities & Context:
The International Hospital Coordinator Is responsible for performing a variety of routine and repetitive tasks to support the daily operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently, particularly in areas requiring consistent and accurate task execution.
Data Entry:·
Accurately input patient information, medical records, and other critical data into the hospital’s electronic health record (EHR) system.·
Maintain and update patient files regularly.
Documentation:·
Prepare, process, and file documents according to hospital protocols.·
Ensure all documentation is correctly labeled, organized, and stored.
Appointment Scheduling:·
Assist in scheduling and confirming patient appointments.·
Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient patient flow.
Communication:·
Answer phones and respond to routine inquiries.·
Forward calls to the appropriate departments and relay messages accurately.
Billing and Insurance Processing:·
Support the billing department by processing claims and following up on outstanding payments.·
Ensure all billing information is accurate and up-to-date.
Inventory Management:·
Monitor and replenish office supplies and medical forms.·
Coordinate with vendors to order necessary supplies as needed.
Compliance and Confidentiality:·
Adhere to hospital policies and regulations, including patient confidentiality and data protection.·
Ensure that all actions comply with local, national, and international health standards.
Repetitive Task Management:·
Perform routine tasks consistently and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.·
Identify and report any issues that may arise during repetitive tasks.
