Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to the Internal Audit (IA) function by identifying and mitigating risks associated with the group payment process, and evaluating the controls in place to mitigate those risks to improve the operational effectiveness.
∎ Audit of all financial transactions to ensure proper accounting entry in ERP in line with company policy, IFRS and local GAAP, VAT & Tax, check comparative statements before purchase, check bank reconciliation, ensure appropriate and sufficient supporting documentation, etc.
∎ Conducting special audits / investigations relating to controls as required from time to time.
∎ May need to visit locations outside of Dhaka as per the audit plan & instruction of the Company's management.
∎ Develop recommendations and formulate cost-saving actions.
∎ Prepare and present reports regarding findings.
