This role is essential in capturing, analyzing, and archiving relevant media content, contributing to a fresh and growing industry within Bangladesh. The ideal candidate is proficient in both English and Bangla, has strong computer skills, and can navigate digital media efficiently. ∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Clip and Archive: Review and clip relevant news and media content from various TV channels, radio stations, newspapers, and online sources.
∎ Analyze Content: Identify key information that aligns with company requirements, including specific themes, keywords, or news categories.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Organize and catalog clips with accurate descriptions and metadata for easy retrieval and reference.
∎ Language Proficiency: Clip and summarize content in both English and Bangla as per reporting guidelines.
∎ Data Management: Use software tools to upload, tag, and store media content for future access by the team.
∎ Requirements:
∎ Computer Literacy: Proficient with Windows or Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic file management. Comfortable learning new software.
∎ Language Skills: Strong command of English and Bangla, with the ability to read, understand, and summarize content accurately in both languages.
∎ Attention to Detail: Ability to work methodically, ensuring clips are accurate, properly tagged, and easily accessible.
∎ Organizational Skills: Well-organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
∎ Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
∎ Preferred Skills:
∎ Experience with media monitoring or archiving tools.
∎ Basic knowledge of media and news industry trends in Bangladesh.
