Responsibilities & Context:
Job Responsibilities
Prepare interior designs, space layouts and project plans for offices, showrooms, commercial spaces and other assigned projects.
Develop modern, functional and aesthetically appealing designs according to client requirements, project specifications and approved budgets.
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models and realistic renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit or other relevant design software.
Conduct site visits, take accurate measurements, analyze spaces and prepare plans for project execution.
Design and specify ceilings, flooring, partitions, furniture, lighting, color schemes and other interior finishing materials.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material estimates, cost estimations and project budgets.
Supervise contractors, carpenters, electricians, painters, masons and other technical workers to ensure proper execution of the approved designs.
Monitor project progress to ensure completion within the approved timeline, budget and quality standards.
Provide regular progress reports to management and communicate project updates, challenges and proposed solutions.
Coordinate with clients, management, suppliers, contractors and relevant departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Inspect the quality of materials and workmanship while maintaining workplace safety and company standards.
Control project costs, minimize material wastage and recommend cost-effective design and construction solutions.
Maintain project documentation, technical drawings, material specifications, progress reports and completion records.
Conduct final inspections, identify defects and coordinate corrective actions before project handover.
Perform any other duties assigned by management relevant to the position.Job Responsibilities
