Job Context:
∎ The main responsibility of a teacher is to help students understand the relevant subject. Duties will range from the preparation of course work, planning of classes, and the marking of work handed in. On top of this, one will also have to arrange any extracurricular activities, like Science Fair, Admission Fair, and set targets for the students. He/ She will also be responsible for Students` admission. One will of course spend a lot of time writing on whiteboards and will also be responsible for the safety of his/ her during class lessons and during excursions.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and guide the students of his/her own class
∎ Conduct the class according to the routine and as per the institute policies
∎ Guide and train the new Teachers to get used to the system of the institute
∎ Supervise the section in-charge to set up the Exam Routine and Teachers' Invigilation list
∎ Check the Lesson Plan if it is done according to the Syllabus and present the same to the section in-charge for approval
∎ Make sure tto take classes properly, regularly, and timely
∎ Maintain all Registers (Attendance Register, Record Register, Lesson Plan Register, Notice Register, etc.)
∎ Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required
∎ Organize different Annual Programs (Science Fair, Cultural Program, Debates etc.)
∎ Take initiative whenever it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution
∎ Cooperate in any sort of disciplinary activities for any of the subordinates or students
∎ Taker active part in the Teacher - Parents meeting and Result Day
∎ Take active role in organizing department wise meeting
∎ Take disciplinary actions against students when it is warranted, in consultation with section in-charge
∎ Counsel Parents/Guardians regarding their students' problems
∎ Visit Institution premises frequently and be aware of the problems of both the Teachers and the students
∎ Monitor the completion of work syllabuses, etc. on a monthly basis
∎ Monitor the performance and contribution of each student of his/her class such as discipline during class hours, communication in English, absence in college, monthly work such as Syllabus completion, Lesson plan preparation, Class Tests, etc.
∎ Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum height 5 Feet and 6 Inches

∎ At least 2 years' experience as an English Teacher at any formal Institution
∎ Must have knowledge about Diploma Curriculum
∎ Teaching/ Training, Education Administration/ Management, Education Counseling, Curriculum/ Program Development, TOT (Training of Teachers)
∎ Candidate must be good at communication and must have adequate knowledge in producing all sorts of reports and presentations
∎ Candidate should be able to function effectively independently as well as in groups
∎ Ability to work on tight schedule and must be able to meet the deadlines
∎ Hardworking, honest, energetic and innovative
∎ Have creativity, integrity, initiatives and imagination
∎ Prepared to accept challenges and work under pressure
Salary: Tk. 14400 - 20000 (Monthly)
