Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English
∎ Minimum Bachelor's degree/Masters in English linguistics/ literature from top-graded public/private university.
∎ MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from a top-rated public/private university is a MUST.
∎ Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA) certification from British Council is an added advantage.
∎ Training/Trade Course: TESOL
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Train employees on basic English skills including reading, writing, and speaking.
∎ Train participants on the correct pronunciation & phonetics of the words, grammar and syntax, vocabulary and word usage, and other principles of the English language.
∎ Emphasize the rules of composition, grammar, and sentence construction.
∎ Instruct participants about the structure and content of the English language & International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).
∎ Able to make intensive lesson plans about tongue twisters to improve pronunciation, rhythm and stress, to take away the fear of making mistakes while speaking.
∎ Plan and prepare lesson plans that meet core objectives and principles and are in line with the curriculum goals in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson.
∎ Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of learning depending on the content.
∎ Engage participants to ensure a lively training room atmosphere.
∎ Deliver lessons using a variety of differentiated instructional techniques that are appropriate to the corporate level and meet the diverse needs of the trainees.
∎ Administer standardized tests in accordance with English testing programs
∎ Maintain accurate and complete training records including attendance, exam script, assessments, and test scores as required by organizational procedures and regulations
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Work with a team.
∎ Computer literacy is a must.
∎ Should have the ability to work under pressure.
∎ Should have good presentation & interpersonal skills.
∎ Outstanding communication skills, planning and organizational skills
∎ Creative and innovative, adaptability, collaborative skills
∎ Data management and analysis abilities
∎ Able to maintain a high standard of professional conduct, able to handle stress
∎ Ability to execute lessons with meaning, in a fun, and engaging manner
