Experience:
Education qualification in diploma/BSC in Computer Science/Master’s degree or relevant subject.
Age limit upto 35 years.
Have a minimum of 2-3 years working experience as ICT Instructor and Organizational policy development in an INGO/NGO.
Willingness to work with Empowering Women of Nepal (EWN) and stay in Pokhara, Nepal minimum 13 months.
Experience on;
Digital fundamentals and safety, capacity development.
Communication and information literacy
Creativity, collaboration, and problem solving
Cybercrime and cybercrime act of Bangladesh
Gender and Inclusion
Strong reporting and monitoring skills in line with requirements of institutional donors.
Working experience with multi-cultural environment to ensure the project implementation issues.
Experience to organize national level event, workshop, seminar etc. and developing awareness raising and advocacy materials.
High proficiency in English and Bengali, both spoken and written and good communication skills.
Computer literacy at advanced level with the MS Office.
Commitment and understanding of organizational aims, values, principles and policies.
Strong understanding of project management, community mobilization, and participatory approaches.
Demonstrated cross-cultural adaptability, flexibility, and commitment to learning.
Terms and Benefits:
Duration: 12-month international placement in Pokhara, Nepal + 2-month follow-up period in Bangladesh. (renewal will be contingent upon performance and availability of fund)
Remuneration: Competitive salary with insurance coverage and housing allowance (as per Norec/SUF policy).
Training: Participation in Norec’s international training sessions in different countries.
Reporting: Regular progress reports to SUF and EWN supervisors, as well as participation in Norec evaluations and partner meetings.
Programme Background:
Society for Underprivileged Families (SUF), Bangladesh, in partnership with Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (Norec), Empowering Women of Nepal is implementing an international exchange initiative titled “Eco-Skill for Tourism project with financial support from the Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (Norec).
The project aims to support environmental benefits by improving the tourism sector players through mutual learning and skill development for disadvantaged youth. By exchanging staff, SUF will integrate environmental issues into skill program, while EWN-Nepal will embed women empowerment in their core activities as well as improving institutional capacity.
Purpose of the Position:
The Project Exchange Participant will represent SUF in Nepal and actively engage in the design, implementation, and documentation of project activities with EWN-Nepal. The position aims to build competencies in environmental conservation, eco-skill for venerable youth, development, and community-based eco-skill.
Upon completion of the exchange, the participant will return to Bangladesh to apply and share the learning within SUF’s programming and contribute to institutional development.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Learning and Exchange
• Participate training in Kathmandu
• Base line survey for beneficiary selection.

• Facilitate digital training of using difference apps
• Young women group formation and monthly session conduction on communication in English, Gender inequality and safeguarding issue.
• Maintain regular attendance in the training room
• Ensure all training materials in the training session
• Ensure attendance of learners in the training center

Major Responsibilities:

• Ensure attendance of learners in the training center
• Follow up absent learner and motivate them to attend in the training session
• Prepare monthly/quarterly and annual progress report and submit to respective line manager.
• Regular communicate with line manager and other colleagues of EWN as well as SUF
• Learn tourism-based skills from EWN.
• Ensure accountability of project implementation at all level.
• After 1 year, back to SUF and sharing experience with colleagues of SUF.
2. Implementation Support
• Assist EWN-Nepal in organizing and facilitating training sessions, community awareness events, and mentoring activities with indigenous communities in Prokha province.
• Contribute to developing and implementing organizational policy.
• Participate in monitoring, documentation, and reporting of project activities, including case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
3. Knowledge Documentation and Sharing
• Lead documentation of best practices and lessons learned from EWN, Nepal.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and reflection meetings with EWN staff and community partners.
• Upon return to Bangladesh, conduct internal learning dissemination workshops at SUF to integrate new knowledge into existing programs.
4. Compliance and Coordination
• Abide by SUF and EWN’s organizational policies and Norec’s ethical principles.
• Ensure adherence to anti-corruption, gender equality, human rights, and environmental standards as per project guidelines.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with SUF, EWN, and Norec throughout the exchange period.
Workplace and Safety:
• The participant will be based at Pokhara, Nepal headquarters in Pokhara, Nepal.
• SUF and EWN will ensure safe accommodation and working conditions in accordance with Norec standards, including medical insurance and emergency preparedness.
