Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices (Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet Region). CB is implementing 89 on-going projects covering 189 Upazilas focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox`s Bazar office is looking for suitable candidate for an immediate appointment as well as to prepare a panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh.

∎ Salary : 60,000

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate the recruitment process under the guidance of Management as per requirements.
∎ Conduct assessment of staff as member of the Assessment Team as assigned by the Management.
∎ Prepare job description of Caritas staff under the guidance of Head of Operation and Program.
∎ Assist Management to identify staff training needs based on performance appraisal report and ensure need-based training for respective groups/individuals timely and appropriately.
∎ Coordinate the process of Employee's Performance Appraisal Form (EPAF) for Annual Increment.
∎ Prepare draft letters related to the approval of staff appointment, promotion, transfer, and other administrative issues.
∎ Provide HR Information to the Communications Section for Caritas Newsletter.
∎ Undertake visit to project/Regional/Central Offices on various HR issues as assigned by the Management.
∎ Assist Management to deal legal compliance issues of Caritas under the guidance of the Management.
∎ Assist Management for Team Building among the organizational staff members for overall growth of the organizational effectiveness.
∎ Prepare staff and training information of Caritas employees for NGOAB and other donor agencies in collaboration with Accounts section as per the requirements.
∎ Assist Management to coordinate the training/workshop/seminar.
∎ Assist Management to identify staff training needs based on performance appraisal report and ensure need-based training for respective groups/individuals timely and appropriately.
∎ Assist Management to search and find the source of training/study scope for the staffs in country and abroad.
∎ Provide necessary support including preparation of letters/documents required for visa processing for Caritas employees for any abroad training/ workshop/ seminar/ higher study.
∎ Facilitate the training/workshop session on HR issues as assigned by the Management.
∎ Provide necessary support to organize Knowledge Development Session (KDS) on various topics/issues for the staffs of Caritas Central Office under the guidance of the Director, Finance and Administration.
∎ Assist Management to improve relationship between staff members of Caritas for better working environment.
∎ Maintain contact, liaison, network, and coordination with the actors of the Public and Private sector for exchange ideas/views, good practices, and learnings.
∎ Maintain liaison and communication with Government, national and international NGOs, donors, and other development agencies in country and abroad as to obtain technical assistant/supports and relevant resources as assigned by the Management for the better development of HR Section of Caritas
∎ Any others task assigned by the organization
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years working experience in the similar job in any NGO/INGO. (Woman will be given special priority)
∎ Ability to engage with local and international agencies.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and training skills.
∎ Able to problem solve and identify resources in the environment.
∎ Computer: MS Word, Internet, E-mails, Excel.
∎ Language: English and Bangla required. Speaking ability in Chattogram local dialect a plus.
∎ Shows persistence when faced with difficult problems or challenges.
∎ Should be fluent in communication both in writing and speaking in English language
∎ Should be self-driven and positive to work in a team.
∎ Should have "can do' attitude and able to handle multiple tasks managing priorities
∎ Committed to work following organizational aims, values, principal, and policies.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
