• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

Medical Degree (MBBS / MD / DO)

• Duration: 4–6 years

• Degree Titles: MBBS, MD or DO

• Focus: General medical education, clinical rotations, and foundational skills.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic

• Age 25 to 35 years

Patient Diagnosis and Evaluation

• Examine patients to diagnose blood disorders, such as anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, hemophilia, and clotting abnormalities.

• Order and interpret specialized laboratory tests (e.g., CBC, bone marrow biopsies, coagulation profiles).

• Evaluate symptoms and medical history to determine the nature of blood-related issues.

Treatment Planning and Management

• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Administer or prescribe treatments like chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood transfusions, and anticoagulants.

• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly.

Laboratory and Diagnostic Work

• Supervise or work closely with pathology and laboratory staff to interpret blood test results.

• Conduct or oversee bone marrow examinations and flow cytometry analysis.

• Review lab protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.

Patient Care and Follow-up

• Provide ongoing care for patients with chronic or complex blood disorders.

• Offer guidance on lifestyle adjustments, medication adherence, and disease management.

• Monitor for treatment side effects and complications.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

• Work with oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and other specialists for integrated patient care.

• Participate in tumor boards or case discussions in oncology-hematology overlap areas.

Education and Training

• Teach medical students, residents, or junior doctors in hematology practices.

• Stay current with advancements in hematology through continuous professional development.

• Present at medical conferences or publish research findings.

Research and Clinical Trials

• Participate in or lead clinical trials for new therapies or drugs.

• Conduct research to better understand hematological diseases and improve patient outcomes.

Administrative and Documentation Duties

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.

• Contribute to departmental meetings and hospital-wide quality initiatives.
