• Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field is highly
preferred.
Experience:
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team-lead role, managing field staff.
• Demonstrable experience in community mobilization, service promotion, and conducting
awareness campaigns.
• Hands-on experience in report writing, documentation, and data management.
Skills & Competencies:
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for
report writing, data analysis, and presentation development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in the field and connect with rural communities.
• Fluency in Bengali and a good command of English.
Key Responsibilities
A. Team Leadership & Supervision:
Lead, supervise, and mentor the MCH field outreach team.
Develop weekly work plans and schedules for the field team.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor team performance and provide on-the-job support.
Organize and lead regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan activities.
B. Service Promotion & Marketing:
Develop and implement innovative strategies to promote the hospital's MCH and Family Planning services within the community.
Identify key community entry points (e.g., households, schools, community centers, markets) for service promotion.
Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, influencers, and stakeholders to foster trust and encourage referrals to the hospital.
Utilize various communication channels (e.g., word-of-mouth, community meetings, leaflets) for marketing hospital services.
C. Community Awareness & Mobilization:
Plan, organize, and conduct community awareness sessions and group meetings on MCH topics, including antenatal care, institutional delivery, postnatal care, newborn care, immunization, and family planning.
Develop simple and effective Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials in the local language.
Mobilize the community to utilize the hospital's MCH services and follow positive health-seeking behaviors.
D. Reporting, Documentation & Data Management:
Collect, compile, and analyze field data to prepare high-quality periodic reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) for management and donors.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all field activities, meetings, and training sessions.
Use MS Word for drafting reports, MS Excel for data management and analysis, and MS PowerPoint for creating presentations for internal reviews and stakeholder meetings.
Ensure proper archiving of all program-related documents, reports, and data for future reference and audits.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to community outreach and service uptake.
E. Coordination & Liaison:
Liaise closely with the hospital's clinical team (doctors, nurses) to provide feedback from the community and ensure a seamless patient referral pathway.
Coordinate with local government health authorities and other relevant stakeholders to align activities and avoid duplication.
Monthly Gross Salary: BDT 25,000/=
