  • Proven track record in developing and managing successful investment business strategies.

Responsibilities & Context:

Head of Sales Team will lead and manage the Bank’s Direct Sales Team (Contractual), driving growth in Shariah-compliant Retail Business products. The incumbent will develop and execute sales strategies, achieve business targets, and strengthen customer engagement. This role requires a results-oriented professional with strong leadership, interpersonal, and business development skills. The position emphasizes building high-performing teams and collaborating with branches and relevant divisions. The incumbent will play a key role in expanding the Bank’s retail business portfolio while ensuring alignment with Shariah principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve retail business targets set by the Bank.

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the Direct Sales Team to achieve Retail business targets.

  • Drive the distribution and promotion of Shariah-compliant Retail Investment and Deposit products.

  • Plan and execute sales strategies, campaigns, and customer outreach initiatives.

  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback to ensure high productivity and oversee other business targets according to set KPIs.

  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients/incumbents of AIBPLC to explain product features and value propositions.

  • Plan effectively to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly targets.

  • Collaborate with branches and relevant divisions to ensure smooth business execution.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow the Bank’s Retail Investment and Deposit portfolio in alignment with Shariah principles.

  • Identify new market opportunities, potential customer segments, and promotional channels.

  • Ensure proper process flow, documentation, and timely investment disbursement.

  • Ensure smooth and effective customer services towards the creation of loyal investment and deposit customers.

  • Organize and support retail business promotions (campaigns, presentations, seminars, exhibitions, etc.) and involve DST to achieve promotion/campaign targets.

  • Explore the market for new business opportunities and report potential leads that align with the bank's business policy.

  • Recommend investment proposals to the competent authority.

  • Ensure proper distribution of work Team Members through well-defined tasks and responsibilities.

  • Continuously monitor and follow up with clients on compliance issues and ensure business covenants.

  • Reporting on business performance, analyzing progress against targets, and providing regular updates on key performance metrics.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the competent authority of the bank.
