Responsibilities & Context:

Core Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Define Revenue Goals: Establish clear, measurable sales targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and growth strategies aligned with overall company objectives.

  • Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new market segments, verticals, and geographic territories to drive business expansion.

  • Competitor & Market Analysis: Continually monitor industry trends, economic indicators, and competitor movements to adjust sales tactics proactively.

2. Leadership & Talent Development

  • Team Recruitment & Scaling: Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing sales managers, account executives, and business development representatives.

  • Coaching & Mentorship: Implement regular training programs focusing on advanced negotiation, product knowledge, and modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales).

  • Culture & Compensation: Design and manage competitive commission structures, incentive programs, and a performance-driven culture that keeps the team motivated.

3. Sales Operations & Pipeline Management

  • Data-Driven Forecatsing: Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts to executive leadership and stakeholders.

  • CRM Optimization: Ensure CRM (Customer Relationship Management) integrity, utilizing data analytics to track pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales cycle lengths.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing (for lead generation quality), Product (for customer feedback loops), and Customer Success (to maximize retention and upsell opportunities).

4. Enterprise & High-Value Relationships

  • Key Account Involvement: Personally step in to help close high-value, strategic enterprise deals and secure long-term partnerships.

  • Contract Negotiation: Review and approve major enterprise contracts, ensuring favorable pricing structures and legal compliance.
