Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

  • Omnichannel Strategy: Design and lead a 360-degree digital strategy across social media, search, and display.

  • E-commerce Growth: Optimize our web store funnel to increase conversion rates and average order value.

  • Performance Marketing: High-level management of Facebook/Meta Ads, Google Shopping, and retargeting campaigns.

  • Content & Viral Marketing: Lead the creative team in producing tech-heavy, engaging content that resonates with the gadget community.

  • Influencer & Community Building: Manage relationships with tech reviewers and build a thriving community of "Gadget-Holics."

  • Data Mastery: Utilize advanced analytics to track performance, attributing growth to specific high-impact levers.

  • Team Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and grow an internal team of specialists and external agencies.

  • Budget Management: Own the marketing P&L, ensuring efficient spend and aggressive CAC/LTV targets.

  • Manage and optimize YouTube, Facebook and TikTok SEO and all other social platforms to improve reach, views and engagement.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance using Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Studio etc.

  • All regular SEO related work such as keyword research, on page off page SEO, link building strategy, technical SEO check and fix, search control etc. 

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to grow audience and content performance

  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to platforms (reach and distribution, copyright, monetization, account issues, etc.)

  • Stay updated with algorithm changes across YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok and others.

  • Work closely with the content team to strengthen digital presence

  • Ensure consistent growth of followers, subscribers, and engagement for cricket news content.
