∎ The applicant should have experience in the following area(s): Sourcing & quality control assurance division in garments.
∎ Must be very good in communicating in fluent English.
∎ Applicant should be well capable do deal with foreign customers.
∎ Applicant will get preference if dealing with reputed buyer.
∎ Candidates having minimum 15 years of experience in managing quality control assurance & Marketing activities of export oriented Ready-Made Garments, products in reputed manufacturing companies and dealing with Sri Lanka, HK, EU, USA, UK & Spain buyers.
∎ Strong understanding of quality assurance, market trends, and customer preferences.
∎ Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
∎ Exceptional negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
∎ Proficiency in using merchandising software and tools.
∎ Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics.
∎ Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
∎ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a quality control strategy that aligns with the company's goals, market trends, and customer preferences for Buyer.
∎ Product Assortment: Curate and manage a diverse range of products that resonate with Buyer's target audience, ensuring a well-balanced assortment that caters to various preferences and needs.
∎ Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, source high-quality products, and ensure a reliable supply chain.
∎ Pricing and Profitability: Determine pricing strategies that optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the market, considering factors such as cost, competition, and perceived value.
∎ Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, turnover rates, and sales data to make informed decisions regarding product replenishment, stock clearance, and new product introductions.
∎ Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and potential risks, adjusting the merchandise strategy accordingly.
∎ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience and align quality efforts with broader business goals.
∎ Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive individual and collective success.
∎ Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies and make data-driven improvements.
∎ Budget Management: Develop and manage the merchandise budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic initiatives and achieve financial targets.
∎ Job Context:
∎ As the HOD-Quality Assurance of the Quality division, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the quality assurance strategy and operations for buyer division. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive quality control that aligns with the company's objectives, drives revenue growth, and enhances the customer experience.
