Education:

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • 10–15 years of experience in battery, power, or energy storage industry, with at least 05 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of lead-acid/industrial batteries, corporate sales cycles, and government tender processes.

  • Proven track record in achieving large-volume sales targets and managing corporate clients.



Responsibilities & Context:

A. Corporate Sales Management

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company’s annual business targets in corporate, government, and institutional segments.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with telecom operators, power utilities, industrial clients, government departments, and large fleet operators.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients, dealers, and distributors.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and sales terms in line with company policies to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.

  • Lead and mentor the corporate sales team to achieve revenue and margin goals.

  • Prepare and present periodic sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to management.

B. Tender and Bidding Management

  • Oversee the entire tendering process—from tender identification to submission, follow-up, and award.

  • Review and interpret tender documents, specifications, and eligibility criteria to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

  • Coordinate with technical, finance, and legal departments to prepare accurate and timely tender documentation.

  • Supervise cost estimation, pricing strategies, and bid proposals to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Maintain a comprehensive tender tracking system to monitor submissions, outcomes, and renewal timelines.

  • Ensure vendor registration, certifications, and all legal documents are up-to-date for participation in tenders with government and semi-government organizations.

  • Develop relationships with relevant ministries, public agencies, and procurement authorities to stay informed about upcoming tenders and projects.

C. Strategic Planning and Business Growth

  • Assist top management in formulating corporate sales strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Identify new product and market opportunities, especially for industrial batteries, solar energy storage, UPS, and automotive battery segments.

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to plan promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and client engagement programs.

  • Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure timely delivery, stock availability, and after-sales support.

  • Contribute to product pricing strategies based on market feedback and cost analysis.

  • Represent the company at trade fairs, tender openings, and high-level business meetings.

D. Team Leadership and People Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the corporate sales and tender team to enhance their performance and accountability.

  • Set clear objectives, monitor results, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Identify training needs and support the professional development of team members.

  • Foster a performance-driven culture built on teamwork, customer service, and business ethics.
