• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Supply Chain, International Business, Finance, or related field will get preference).

• At least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of export-import procedures, documentation, and compliance.

• Expertise in L/C, international trade finance, Incoterms, and foreign exchange.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and risk management skills

• Proven track record in managing high-volume national & international trade

The head of commercial is responsible for leading and managing all commercial activities related to international trade, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and driving cost efficiency in export & import operations. The role ensures smooth trade execution, develops global supplier & buyer networks, and aligns commercial strategy with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team to achieve operational excellence

• Develop and implement commercial strategies for export & import aligned with company objectives.

• Ensure smooth execution of national & international trade operations, from order confirmation to final delivery.

• Oversee the preparation and management of L/C, TT, CAD, and other international payment methods.

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with global suppliers and buyers to secure competitive advantages.

• Monitor trade trends, exchange rates, shipping lines, and market regulations to optimize business decisions

• Manage sourcing, supplier relations, and procurement strategies for imported goods/raw materials

• Monitor and control duty structures, HS codes, and regulatory compliance for imported products
