∎ ABOUT COMPANY:
∎ Nano Solar ltd. Has been incorporated to implement solar energy based nano grid system in the off-grid region of Bangladesh. InfraCo Asia (www.infracoasia.com), an infrastructure development company based out of Singapore formed a joint venture company (Nano solar Ltd.) in Bangladesh with a local company for development & implementation of standardized 3 KW "Solar Nano grid systems" designed to cover more than 50 households each within ½ - 1 ½ km area of the installation in "Non-grid" or poorly serviced grid "equivalent Off Grid" areas in Bangladesh.
∎ POSITION SUMMARY:
∎ As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Head of Accounts will report to the company nominated personnel and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The Head of Accounts will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing with the all company related statutory work along with company secretarial job
∎ This is a full time position with an initial probation period of 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
∎ Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
∎ Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
∎ Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization including setting up standard accounting and finance practices.
∎ Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
∎ Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
∎ Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
∎ Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company
∎ Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
∎ Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with IFRS as well as Local GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
∎ Manage company's reporting (financial as well as qualitative) and compliance function including testing compliance with policies and procedures and issuing Annual certifications to shareholders/investors
∎ Preparation and presentation of audited financial statements in compliance with applicable laws and standards as well as IFRS
∎ Support Board, CEO and project team on financial aspects of projects including compliance with financial covenants of shareholder's agreement and lender agreements
∎ Analyse cash flow needs of project and manage fund requirements; making appropriate call for funds from shareholders / lenders; forecasting future cash needs and parking idle funds to generate passive returns; managing working capital needs of company through optimum AR and AP levels
∎ Advise management on tax aspects governing the project and company
∎ Analyse and evaluate industry benchmarks, project components, and monitor project feasibility.
∎ Ensuring stress testing (vis-a-vis financial/non-financial factors, price/cost overruns), managing documentation and timely reporting to shareholders / Board on risks concerning the project
∎ Be involved in performance measurement and review of company / team adherence to achievement of organisations' strategic goals (preparation of Balances scorecard / Heat map etc.)
∎ Planning, convening the Board meetings as well as General Meetings (producing notice of meetings, agendas, taking minutes, conveying decisions, handling meeting correspondence) and follow up on action points.
∎ Act as the SPOC for the organization for keeping up to date with any regulatory or statutory changes and policies that might affect the organization.
∎ Dealing with correspondence, collate information and write reports, communicate decisions to relevant company stakeholders, authenticate documents on behalf of company.
∎ Act as focal point (Compliance manager) for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures of the organization
∎ Filing, registering any document including forms, returns and applications with Registrar and foreign exchange authorities by and on behalf of the company as an authorized representative and maintaining secretarial records, statutory books and registers, foreign exchange returns.
∎ Take lead role in share issuances, mergers and takeovers.
∎ Performing other responsibilities as required by the management/ group.
∎ Soft Skills:
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
∎ Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
∎ High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
∎ Self-motivated and must possess excellent leadership skills
∎ Competencies:
∎ Candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (and a member of ICAB)
∎ Candidate should be a Chartered Secretary (and a member of ICSB)
∎ Must possess excellent working experience on ERP software and good command on timberline, excel, word and power point

Additional Requirements:
∎ 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in Solar or power generation industry. Prior experience in handling both CA and CS roles would be an added advantage. Candidate having worked in a leadership role in an infrastructure / power company with international funding will be preferred.
