Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in Business Studies (major in Accounting).
∎ The applicant must be a CA qualified (ACA)/Part Qualified from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) or CMA qualified (ACMA)/Part Qualified from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).

Job Context:
∎ We are looking for skilled, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to establish a strong Head of Accounts & Finance .
∎ Workplace : Work at Head office
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing the financial reporting for the organization. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans and all statutory financial reporting
∎ To be responsible for the daily recording and posting of all transaction in Tally ERP accounting System
∎ Sound knowledge in Tax/VAT Act and Accounting Standards.
∎ Sound knowledge in Accounting software (particularly in Tally) and other general computer applications.
∎ Responsible four preparation of weekly, monthly, yearly financial statements i.e. Balance shaft P & L, Received Payment statements etc.
∎ Play a key role in the formulation of the business's strategy
∎ Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organization and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
∎ Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
∎ Managing and overseeing the company's banking and borrowing arrangements
∎ Managing relationships with Investors (where applicable)
∎ Managing and overseeing the company's financial systems
∎ Investment appraisal and analysis
∎ Presenting results to non-finance people to understand
∎ Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
∎ Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place
∎ Overseeing commercial decision making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis etc
∎ Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
∎ Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information.
∎ Preparing Budget and Follow Up accordingly:
∎ Prepare project wise collection basis budget on periodical basis (Weekly/Monthly).
∎ Prepare payment schedule based on budget.
∎ Periodic payment follow up.
∎ Banking Activities:
∎ Ensure the payment to different stakeholders such as vendors payment, sales refund etc.
∎ Monitor journal voucher posting in ERM software for utility, welfare, mutation and registration cost with proper Calculation and cancelled and refund files.
∎ Follow up and monitoring bank reconciliation statement report.
∎ Ensure Fund transfer process.
∎ Receipt & Payment:
∎ Prepare payment schedule on priority basis as per payment budget.
∎ Monitoring financial adjustment for internal and external stakeholders in 15 days interval.
∎ Update and follow up receipt and payment activities.
∎ Financial Reporting:
∎ Prepare project wise daily, monthly receipt payment and other financial statement (Project wise).
∎ Maintain and supervise strong internal controls for cash collections and payments.
∎ Review cash handling procedures and update as needed.
∎ Any other task given by the Supervisor and Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 45 years

∎ Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Accounting department (at least 3 years as Manager or higher position)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Group of Companies, Specially Real Estate Sector.
∎ 10 years' experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success
∎ Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analyses of any Group of companies.
∎ Sound knowledge about builder's financial activities.
∎ Results oriented and metrics driven
∎ Exceptional time management and able to solve problems
∎ Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
∎ Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability
∎ Professional written and oral communication skills
∎ Confident to present results to an audience
∎ Strategic thinking, planning and creative problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Ability to collaborate with upper management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goals
∎ Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
