Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
∎ Establish accounts and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis
∎ Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
∎ Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation
∎ Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows
∎ Ensure reporting functions and responses to ad hoc requests for Accounts related information are appropriately delivered.
∎ Collaborate, design, implement and review accounting systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevant practices.
∎ Manage relationships with others across the Group to achieve alignment in key business strategies and decisions.
∎ Provide excellent leadership and management of Corporate Accounts, measured by the effectiveness, engagement and business unit respect of the team.
∎ Build productive working relationships with stakeholders in order to understand their business operations and the accounts information needs of end users
∎ Perform the accounting function for holding company entities and Research technical accounting issues for compliance
∎ Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and do additional controller duties as necessary
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
∎ Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
∎ Experience in managing software (ERP), with focus on streamlining accounting processes
