Responsibilities & Context:
Research industry trends to integrate modern and innovative styles into projects.
Conducting comprehensive trend research on a global scale, analyzing runway shows, trade fairs, consumer behavior, and cultural movements.
Developing seasonal mood boards, color palettes, and thematic concepts aligned with the brand's creative direction and market strategy.
Identifying and source new fabrics, trims, and materials from international suppliers.
Developing designs using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
Creating original sketches for garments and collections.
Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, providing clear feedback to pattern makers and sample machinists.
Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with applicable software.
Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
Helping make design choices, such as fonts and colors, for all content company will use.
Collaborate closely with Product Development and Merchandising teams to ensure designs are feasible for production, meet target price points, and are delivered on schedule.
Communicating with clients about layout and design.
Assisting in the preparation of collections for showroom presentations, photo shoots, and fashion shows.
Participating in line planning and range building to ensure a balanced and commercial collection.
Creating guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used.
Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
Manage time effectively to deliver high-quality designs on schedule.
