• Knowledge of footwear design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or relevant 3D footwear design software. Footwear Design , Shoe Making Pattern, Development Last & Sole Knowledge, Material Knowledge, Sample Development, Product Construction.

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Executive – Product Development to develop footwear from concept to final sample. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in footwear design and shoe making, with sound knowledge of footwear construction, pattern development, materials, lasts, sampling, and production processes.

1. Design and develop new footwear styles based on market trends, consumer requirements, and business needs.

2. Develop footwear concepts, sketches, technical specifications, and product details.

3. Handle the complete footwear development process, from initial concept/design through prototype, sampling, and final approval.

4. Prepare and modify shoe patterns, components, and construction details as required.

5. Demonstrate hands-on knowledge of shoe making and different footwear construction methods.

6. Work with different types of footwear materials including leather, synthetic, textile, mesh, PU, EVA, rubber, and other components.

7. Coordinate the development of lasts, soles, uppers, patterns, moulds, and other footwear components.

8. Review samples and identify issues related to fit, comfort, construction, appearance, and functionality.

9. Conduct sample evaluations and provide technical feedback for necessary improvements.

10. Coordinate with suppliers, factories, and production teams for sample development and modifications.

11. Ensure that developed products are technically feasible and suitable for mass production.

12. Maintain product specifications, technical documents, sample records, and development timelines.

13. Support costing and material optimization while maintaining required quality and design standards.

14. Research footwear trends, materials, technologies, and competitor products to support new product development.

15. Ensure timely completion of product development activities according to agreed timelines.

16. Collaborate with Design, Sourcing, Quality, Production, Merchandising team.
