∎ B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred)
∎ 12–15 years of hands-on experience in garment industry IE, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role
∎ Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in output, efficiency, and cost
∎ Experience in composite knitwear factories with both cotton and synthetic lines preferred
∎ Strong command of Lean, Six Sigma, SMV, VSM, and digital reporting tools
∎ Working experience in ERP integration, KPI dashboards, and OEE frameworks

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the complete IE function with a clear roadmap tied to company goals.
∎ Identify hidden costs in current workflows and drive immediate corrective actions to increase earnings per minute and reduce wage-to-output ratio.
∎ Report weekly to the Managing Director with actionable insights linked to financial outcomes (i.e. minutes saved, units increased, headcount optimized).
∎ Conduct full-line diagnostics: time & motion studies, SMV analysis, manpower balancing across sewing, cutting, finishing, packing.
∎ Drive Man-to-Machine productivity with line balancing targets and operator load distribution.
∎ Plan monthly capacity with Planning and Merchandising to ensure realistic timelines and labor usage.
∎ Develop factory SOPs across cutting, sewing, finishing—ensuring reproducibility of styles with minimal training.
∎ Standardize data collection from floor: output tracking, absenteeism, downtime reasons.
∎ Co-lead the setup of digital dashboards or ERP systems to visualize real-time KPIs, OEE, and cost per minute.
∎ Partner with Maintenance Head to track machine downtime, inefficiencies, and repair timelines.
∎ Launch and maintain manual utility consumption logs (gas, water, electricity) with costing feedback loops.
∎ Assist in assessing ROI for machinery upgrades (elastane handling, dosing equipment) tied to future product goals.
∎ Build and mentor a lean IE team with a KPI-driven culture (daily line efficiency %, absenteeism impact, quality bottlenecks).
∎ Train operators and supervisors to understand production targets and improvement processes.
∎ Lead the IE team to be proactive troubleshooters, not just data collectors.

As such, we are seeking a hands-on and high-impact leader to revamp our production efficiency and turn operational gaps into growth opportunities.The General Manager – Industrial Engineering & Process Improvement will serve as a key factory-based leader driving measurable outcomes through manpower balancing, process standardization, digital reporting, and sustainable productivity.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
