Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: The General Manager – Audit (Electronics & Automobile) is responsible for leading and managing the internal audit operations of the electronics division. This role ensures that all audit activities align with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. The GM will oversee a team of auditors, design and implement audit strategies, and deliver actionable insights to strengthen operational efficiency, risk management, and internal control systems.
Job Description:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive audit plan encompassing all areas of the company’s operations, including financial, operational, and compliance audits.
- Lead and manage the internal audit team, ensuring auditors have the skills, tools, and resources required to perform their duties effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, the audit committee, and external auditors.
- Evaluate and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.
- Identify areas for improvement in internal controls, processes, and procedures, and collaborate with senior management to implement enhancements.
- Track and report on the progress of audit recommendations, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring the audit function remains compliant with all relevant standards.
- Oversee the budget and resources for the internal audit function, ensuring efficient allocation to meet business needs.
- Provide regular updates to the audit committee and senior management regarding audit activities and significant findings.
- Promote a culture of risk awareness, compliance, and ethical behavior across the organization.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
