Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering
∎ Diploma / Graduate in GIS Engineer/related Degree
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • To collect the GPS information with the help of Field Facilitators and using GPS devices (Point, line, Polyline data) and convert the data to GIS data. Cross-check and adjust the point/line data, so that it matches the base map of the respective project areas (Cox’s Bazar Sadar and Chakaria Upazilas under Cox’s Bazar district).
∎ • To create Union and Upazila wise hazard and countermeasure mapping including attribute data and Shape files for Chakaria and Sadar Upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
∎ • Digitize the information collected by the field level staff which is described on physical maps
∎ • To take preparation for attending monthly meeting/Workshop organize by LDRRP project and make presentation on his finding through mapping presentation.
∎ • Time to time communicate with JET team and provide GIS date as per their required.
∎ • Time to time monitor the Filed Facilitators (FF) about their field survey, data validation etc.
∎ • To prepare several field reports and data collection as per project design and instruction of project authority.
∎ Others:
∎ • Regular user of Computer, E-mail & Internet with skilled and confidentiality
∎ • The incumbent is expected to have excellent fluency in written and oral communication skills both Bangla and English.
∎ • If any complex found that, then as early as possible communicate with senior management. Besides this maintain organization rules and regulation and encourage to other staffs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have minimum of 02 years’ experience in the similar field.
