About the role
Our product runs on a Perl backend with a Vue.js frontend. You’ll build end-to-end features, collaborate with a small, friendly team, and ship to production frequently. We also welcome strong PHP (or other back-end) engineers who can ramp up on Perl quickly.
What you’ll do
• Implement features across Vue (SPA/components) and Perl services/APIs
• Design/consume REST APIs and integrate third-party services
• Write maintainable, tested code with clear docs
• Collaborate on scoping/estimations; deliver on time
• Diagnose and improve performance/reliability in production
Must-haves
• Solid experience building web backends (Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, or Node)
• Proficiency with Vue 2/3 (or modern component frameworks)
• SQL fundamentals (MySQL/PostgreSQL), migrations, basic query tuning
• Git/GitHub workflow, code reviews, CI familiarity
• Clear English communication and async collaboration skills
