We are expanding our Product Development Team and seeking an experienced Footwear Designer who can contribute from concept development through production approval with strong technical and design expertise
Job Context
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing the complete product development lifecycle, ensuring design accuracy, production feasibility, quality standards, and cost efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the product development process from concept to production approval.
• Develop, modify, and finalize patterns for leather footwear.
• Interpret design sketches, tech packs, and blueprints to create accurate samples and patterns.
• Coordinate with design, merchandising, production, and quality teams for smooth workflow.
• Supervise sampling activities and ensure timely submission and approval of samples.
• Prepare and analyze costing sheets and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure proper material selection, construction methods, and workmanship standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during sampling and production trials.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and production feasibility.
• Maintain complete documentation of product development and pattern archives.
• Guide and mentor junior team members to enhance overall team performance.
