Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma/B.Sc. in Food Engineering and Technology and/or equivalent work experience.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accurately document recipes and results of pilot and plant trials
∎ Modify recipes as required to meet nutritional/quality specifications & optimize scale up
∎ Formulate and develop new products to match business, customer, regulatory and cost guidelines
∎ Keep current on product trends and consumer trends
∎ Experience in product development of Cookies, Cake and or Bakery products
∎ Experience in product development of Dairy and or Bread products
∎ Knowledge of functional ingredients
∎ Ability to identify new customers to market food ingredients
∎ Ability to understand the customer needs and provide solutions
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
∎ Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email)
∎ High Energy and Flexibility are required
∎ Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of urgency

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 2 years of Food Technology experience
∎ Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
∎ Understanding of key food ingredients in dairy, cake, bread & confectionary products
