Experience:
HSE&S related certifications from reputed institutions (e.g., NEBOSH / IOSH and 6 monthly FSM course from BFSCD) will be added advantage.
Must have the knowledge to organize the installation and maintenance of panel board systems, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and addressable and fire hydrant systems.
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): (Fire safety Management, Health Safety Environment, Occupational Health)
Ensure the overall safety of LPG plant by establishing necessary safety, health and environmental practices considering standard compliance requirements and LPG plant’s scope of operation.
Conduct regular inspections of operational equipment to ensure the safe execution of LPG plant processes.
Oversee operational safety and monitor activities such as bulk loading/unloading, storage tank management, pipelines, compressors, pumps, barges, and road tankers.
Monitor pressure vessels, compressors, pumps, and valves for signs of wear, leaks, or other safety hazards.
Ensure the availability, functionality, and performance of fire protection and detection systems.
Conduct hazard assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Develop and establish a system for accident-free plant operations.
Promote a safety-first culture through toolbox talks, campaigns, and workshops.
Review accidents, near misses, and injuries to implement corrective and preventive measures.
Conduct drills, simulations, and community engagement to prepare for emergencies.
Conduct HSE training and fire drills to develop a strong safety culture and a competent workforce.
Conduct thorough hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA) to prevent accidents and mitigate potential hazards.
Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-miss events to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct monthly safety audits and prepare various safety reports for review.
Maintain accurate records of all safety inspections, audits, training, permits, and safety logs.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including those from government authorities and stakeholders.
Inspect and maintain fire protection and detection systems, including extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, and alarms.
Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring they are tested and understood by all personnel.
