Educational Requirements:
∎ The incumbent should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline and a retired person from Bangladesh fire service civil defense. However, for any exceptional candidate, the criterion may be relaxed.

Job Context:
∎ Report to: Assistant Manager, CSR & Sustainability
∎ Follow up Team: CSR & Sustainability

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidates must have sound knowledge on Accord, Alliance/RSC BNBC, NFPA & Fire Service Rules/Requirement to make the remediation work in RMG sector.
∎ Monitor and ensure that Fire Hydrant, Fire detection & Protection system and safety equipment are checked and maintained regularly.
∎ Capable of calculating and Monitoring Fire Detection & Protection System Design according to BNBC and NFPA standards (As per Accord, Alliance/RSC requirements).
∎ Capable to take initiative according to Accord, Alliance/RSC to ensure review findings.
∎ Capable of doing Testing, Commissioning & Supervision Work on Fire Detection & Protection Installation.
∎ Capable of monitoring and maintenance of Fire Door in the facility.
∎ Capable of cleaning the Fire Detection Device as required to function as CFDS.
∎ Conduct Fire Risk Assessment, monitor checkpoints & Ensure all types of firefighting equipment are operational & correct in position and should be maintained on the checklist.
∎ To activate Fire Detection & Protection System (Fire Hydrant) and regular maintenance work if required and report to management.
∎ To look after housekeeping and maintain a checklist on a regular basis.
∎ To ensure In-house Fire training for Firefighters, Rescuers and newly employees monthly basis as per Training Plan.
∎ Identify fire hazardous areas and to take proper preventive measures on priority basis.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management from time to time.
∎ For necessary to meet compliance requirements.

∎ The job holder must have similar kind of experience of minimum 5 years for which 2-3 years in supervisory position in a relevant industry. However, for any exceptional candidate; the experience requirement may be relaxed. The job holder needs to have in-depth knowledge on fire safety management
∎ Functional Competencies :
∎ Having fire safety training.
∎ Obtaining fire prevention, education, or inspection experience.
∎ Demonstrating firefighting equipment testing and maintenance experience.
∎ Showing knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
