• Additional Requirements

• Strong knowledge of RSC/Accord/Alliance safety standards, labor laws, and compliance protocols

• Should have Fire Safety Officer Course from FSCD.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Proficiency in both English and Bengali writing and documentation

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Fire Safety Officer to oversee all aspects of fire safety within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fire safety regulations, emergency preparedness, and fire risk mitigation—particularly within the garments or accessories manufacturing industry. The role involves implementing preventive measures, coordinating fire safety drills, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards such as RSC/Accord/Alliance.

• Supervise maintenance and functionality of all fire safety systems and equipment in the workplace

• Conduct daily fire safety inspections and promptly eliminate any identified fire hazards

• Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans

• Train and coordinate the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in first aid, firefighting, and evacuation procedures

• Conduct and assist in fire and emergency evacuation drills as per schedule or regulatory requirements

• Ensure proper placement and regular maintenance of firefighting equipment according to risk areas and layouts

• Identify fire hazard-prone areas and take necessary preventive and corrective actions

• Monitor electrical installations, power cables, and wires to prevent potential fire risks

• Maintain accurate records of fire equipment inspections, maintenance logs, and fire-related documentation

• Ensure cleanliness of fire-sensitive zones like cable trays and dusty areas in coordination with admin teams

• Liaise with Fire Service & Civil Defense authorities and other regulatory bodies regarding fire safety compliance

• Ensure timely renewal and update of fire licenses and associated documentation

• Organize awareness campaigns, training sessions, and competitions to promote a fire-safe workplace

• Handle any other fire safety-related assignments as directed by the management
