Job Context:
∎ A renowned Independent Power Producer Company looking for Financial Analyst for their Corporate Office in Dhaka.
∎ The Power Plant constructed 220MW (Gas)/212 MW (HSD) Dual fuel Fuel Combined Cycle Power Plant as IPP Agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support research and analysis to evaluate and execute investment opportunities in Bangladesh.
∎ Develop financial models for new opportunities and update/maintain financial models for portfolio companies and perform scenario analysis as required.
∎ Assist the business development and commercial teams in identifying levers to improve returns across new investment opportunities / existing portfolios.
∎ Work closely with the business development and commercial teams to gather relevant and accurate information for inputs into the financial / valuation models.
∎ Coordinate the due diligence work streams as part of the evaluation of investment opportunities in Bangladesh gas power.
∎ Assist in the preparation of internal memos / Board papers for investment approvals and decisions and presentations to the external stakeholders.
∎ Support the project financing time across the project financing cycle - due diligence process, documentation, execution etc.
∎ Support on greenfield projects across the project life cycle - due diligence process, project documentation, execution etc.
∎ Portfolio management - assist in putting together MIS reports / portfolio monitoring reports for internal/external requirements.
∎ Analyzing financial statements, market trends, economic indicators, and other financial data to identify patterns and trends.
∎ Evaluate investment opportunities by conducting financial analysis and assessing potential risks and returns.
∎ Due diligence-investigation, audit, or review performed to confirm facts or details of a matter under consideration.
∎ Monitor financial performance and identify areas where improvements can be made to maximize profitability.
∎ Foreign Investment Handling.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Finance focused & high commercial acumen
∎ Proven analytical skills
∎ Communicates effectively and has strong presentation skills.
∎ Works independently using project management skills.
∎ Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
∎ Strong Microsoft Office Skills especially advanced Microsoft Excel.
∎ Experience of working in ERP- Tally, Oracle, SAP
∎ Report Making
∎ Knowledge of MIS
