Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed university
∎ Having Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Purchase/ Procurement, supply chain management, Supply Chain Planning
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Power
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To collect price quotations, visit market, source vendors.
∎ To prepare the Comparative Statement & Purchase Order and follow up the delivery issues.
∎ To evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
∎ Purchase of various equipment, spares, etc.
∎ Conducting price negotiation & communication.
∎ Identify new suppliers, develop vendor complying with company's terms & conditions.
∎ Prepare & maintain purchase record, report & price list on regular basis.
∎ Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.
∎ To maintain liaison with the various department in respect to requisition follow up and feedback.
∎ Any other job assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in Oracle or SAP will be added advantage.
∎ Critical thinker and problem solving skills
∎ Strong communication abilities in Bengali and English, both oral and written
∎ Must have a sound knowledge in MS Office
∎ Must be able to work under pressure
∎ • Should be energetic, committed, sincere, responsible, & integrated.
