Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Accounting / Finance or related field or equivalent.
∎ Master's Degree (MBA, M.Com,) is an advantage and preferred.
∎ Membership in CA association (CA, CMA, ACCA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)/ Certified IS Auditor CISA) is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all government, statutory and financial reporting, including audit report, tax submissions for both agency and principal.
∎ a) Full responsibility for the annual financial accounting including statutory audit at the end of the year.
∎ b) Ensure all balance sheet, sub-systems ledgers and systems freight are reconciled on a monthly basis and bank reconciliation weekly basis.
∎ c) Ensure compliance with all local government and statutory requirement.
∎ d) Ensure annual corporate tax assessment on a timely basis and keep relationship with the tax authorities.
∎ e) Ensure compliance with all local government and statutory requirement.

∎ Responsible for reports to local management and regional HQ
∎ a) Drive the annual budget process and provide monthly budget variance analysis.
∎ b) Full responsibility for all corporate annual reporting requirement within deadlines.
∎ c) Responsible for weekly cash flow statement for corporate
∎ d) Responsible for monthly corporate reporting provide analysis / commentary on the result and variances.
∎ e) Coordinate with the GM for various compliances and assist him in his requirements.
∎ f) Responsible for proper working capital management, including debtors, creditors, banks
∎ g) Review debtor reports and liaise with the marketing teams for their action plan for recovery.
∎ h) Actively monitor debtor aged balances with proactive collection activity of overdue.
∎ i) Liaise with the bank for the guarantees, fixed deposits and other issues.
∎ Manage and develop finance / accounting team.
∎ Responsible to handle / manage Company's HR/Admin matters including day to day operations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 (five) years of relevant Finance experience, preferably in shipping business with commerce graduate / post graduate
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Experience in Principal/Agency accounting
∎ Strong in accounting standards, controls and procedures, including reconciliation of accounts
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Excel
∎ Proven track record of mentoring & training subordinates
∎ Proficient in English language (local language is a plus)
∎ Have the ability to work under pressure
∎ Trustworthy, self-motivated and hardworking.
∎ Should be able to drive process improvements.

Salary: Negotiable
