Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities include

• Sub-Grant Financial Management & Monitoring Support: Support the HoP/Portfolio Lead with pre-award assessments, agreement review, and disbursement and support the Head of operations with the review and verification sub-grantee financial reports. Track sub-grantee expenditures against approved budgets. Process sub-grantee fund disbursement requests in a timely manner. Conduct periodic financial monitoring visits to sub-grantees to verify expenditures.

• Donor Compliance & Reporting: Support the HoO with observing strict adherence to the financial and contractual obligations of donor`s grants. Stay updated on specific donor regulations. Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports for donors funded projects.

• Capacity Building & Support: Conduct Training Need Assessment (TNA) of existing partners and find out improvements plan. Design and deliver training, policy and systems improvements.

• Budgeting support & Financial reporting: Assist program teams in developing sub-grant budgets in line with project proposals and donor guidelines. Contribute to the elaboration of performance metrics related to sub grants.

• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records for all sub-grants, including agreements, reports, supporting documentation, and correspondence.

• Coordination & Communication: Liaise effectively with GAIN program staff, sub-grantees, and the GAIN country/global finance team regarding sub-grant financial matters.

• The starting annual gross salary on offer for this role is as indicated depending on experience.

• 1,207,404 BDT - 1,381,380 BDT gross/annum
