Job Context:
∎ Under the mentorship and supervision of Finance Controller, this post is responsible for day-to-day financial transaction, review of payment supporting documents data processing while keeping in line with IRC policies and procedures. The Finance Assistant will support immediate supervisor lead and maintain country office accounting database. This position also requires close working relationship with Programs, Admin, Human Resources and Supply Chain units.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for processing the payments for both Bank and cash transactions
∎ Ensure completeness of payment documents in compliance to IRC and Donor policies and procedure
∎ Prepare and maintain cash books ensuring completeness and accuracy of data entry.Ensure that coding are accurate and appropriately approved by authorized personnel
∎ Perform posting of entries in SUN system when required and ensure accuracy and completeness of the process
∎ Carry out and document cash count as per the IRC policy and procedures
∎ Upload valid cash and bank spreadsheet before needed
∎ Review PRs for proper coding and budget adequacy before approval
∎ Review and account for procurement transactions to ensure adequate supporting documentation, accuracy of amounts and control over payments within limits
∎ Participate and review the monthly/Annual inventory physical checks
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years’ experience with International NGOs and auditing firms
∎ Strong computer skills-especially Microsoft excel and experience working with computerized accounting system
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Salary: Tk. 42000 (Monthly)
