Rupantar is now inviting applications from suitable experienced and interested candidate to work coastal areas for filling up the following job vacancies to work in a climate change focused project supported by CARE Bangladesh dealing with Climate Risk Mitigation in Bagerhat District.
∎ Project Name : Community Led Innovation for Climate Risk Mitigation in Bangladesh - CLIMB
∎ Job Location : Sarankhola Upazilla in Bagerhat District
∎ Project Duration: 1st August, 2022 to 31st August, 2025
∎ Supporting and guiding in all administrative, financial and logistics operation in compliance with generally accepted accounting practices and CARE and DANIDA's Financial, procurement and Administrative Policies and Procedures.
∎ The finance and admin officer will responsible for maintaining project's books of accounts, prepare & coordinate regular 'cash calls', financial reporting to CARE.
∎ S/he will be responsible for the day to day administration related work, such as staff leave record, vehicle arrangement, hotel booking etc.
∎ S/he will also be responsible for developing financial report as per the requirement of project
∎ Proven skill in financial management, managing of donor funds, GAAP, GOB rules (VAT, Tax etc.) Donor rules and regulations etc
∎ Skilled in budgeting, budget monitoring and review of project expenses to ensure the VFM for optimal utilization of resources
∎ Sound and prompt in different program reporting as well as reconciliation of Program vs Financial Report.
∎ Clear concept on different procurement/payment procedure
∎ Strong safety and security awareness
∎ Sound knowledge of Finance and Administration policies
∎ Proficiency in computer skills
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
∎ Good understanding and skill of MS Office applications
∎ At least 3-5 years' relevant working experience in any National/International NGO;
∎ Knowledge of financial management software packages.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Ability to work collect and input large volume of data.
∎ Knowledge in good record keeping practices.
∎ Good understanding on issues related to gender equity and protection.
∎ An amount of 30,000/- per month with 5% increment
