Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Nari Sramik Kendra (BNSK) is a development organization, dedicated to promote and protect rights of the migrant workers especially for women migrant workers through (i) Mass awareness campaigns for safe orderly and regular migration; (ii) Capacity building for potential migrants and socioeconomic reintegration of returnee migrants; and (iii) advocacy to promote and protect rights of the migrants and victims of trafficking.
∎ BNSK has signed a partnership agreement titled Eliminating Migrations Induced Problems for Women Migrants with PROKAS, British Council to create an impact in service delivery in migration sector of Bangladesh. It plans to see the Overall impact in women migration is -Reduced incidence of Modern Slavery of women migrant workers of Bangladesh through economic, social, and legal empowerment.
∎ BNSK is looking for a competent and self-motivated individual for the following position:
∎ The position is based in BNSK head office in Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Finance and Administration Manager-
∎ Financial Management:
∎ Manages the program day to day accounting functions including regular cash verification, bank balance sheets, accounts reconciliation, monthly closing, monthly cash projection and timely submission of financial reporting to the respective authority
∎ In-depth knowledge proper documentation process for agreement, financial reporting, fund request, invoice and others necessary documents
∎ Ensure fund are used appropriately in implementing area according to approved activities and budget
∎ Experience on budgeting and financial report preparation
∎ Excellent knowledge on donor's reporting and policy compliance and donor contract management
∎ Good knowledge on accounting principles, theories, practice and terminology, law, regulation, donor's regulation and procedures associated with financial management
∎ Ensures adherence to the national laws for VAT and Tax deduction according to Govt. policy and due time deposit to govt. treasury;
∎ Ensure that authorized signatory list and bank information forms are regularly updated, and hardcopies are on file
∎ Internal control and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions (when applicable)
∎ Control partner's financial report prepare all finance reports required by the mission;
∎ Audit partner's financial management and procedures monthly;
∎ Recording of bill, advance, invoices and payment in accurate time, cash reconciliation;
∎ Assist Program Manager to develop FD-2, FD-3, FD-4, FD-6, FD-7 and FD-9 in consultation with BNSK office;
∎ Experience in computer-based accounts software package Banana;
∎ Financial control, internal control and controlling tools set-up over financial management;
∎ Ensure project proposal / budgetary control / fund flow management;
∎ In-depth knowledge on administration, accounts, finance, audit, HR, logistic & procurement policies
∎ In liaise with PROKAS ensures Budget meeting minutes are worked on included proposed adjustment and feedback given to Line Manager
∎ Experience in enter grant receipt from donor fund
∎ Knowledge on BAS (Bangladesh accounting standard)
∎ BSA (Bangladesh standard of auditing
∎ BFRS (Bangladesh financial reporting standard)
∎ GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles)
∎ Experience in working computer-based software/accounting package i.e. Tally
∎ Good skilled on computer: Microsoft office, website and e-mail and internet
∎ Attending internal and external audit and obtained minimum findings
∎ Experience managerial, leadership and good coordination and communication skills both oral and written skills in English and Bengali
∎ Administrative and Logistics Support:
∎ Provides administrative support to mission team. This also includes organizing logistics for missions, travel arrangement, meetings, conferences and others special events;
∎ Prepares contracts engaged by BNSK with parties;
∎ Performs procurement according to BNSK policy;
∎ Payment and clearance of advance and salaries;
∎ Doing/Renewing work permit, Visa and security clearance of expatriate employees;
∎ Ensure timely payment of all utilities and others bills;
∎ Administrative and Procurement (Planning, forecasting, managing daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly);
∎ Do quarterly inventory sport check, surprise cash count verify warehouse journal and ledger entries such as warehouse release note, Good received note, stock cards, in cards, donor receipts and assets etc.
∎ Ensure that the allocation of salaries is based on timesheets and update of salary mapping to easy visibility of the coverage
∎ Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity also determine scope of further investigation required when necessary
∎ Managing inventories at pre-determined levels to control investment in inventors;
∎ HR Support:
∎ Manages all staff leave schedules for the team; keep all records accurately in collaboration with the Program Managers and others human resource related admin tasks;
∎ Responsible for training of finance and non-finance staff and will represent finance during on boarding of new staff (staff orientation)
∎ Maintain confidentiality of organizational information and documents strictly and sincerely;
∎ Asses and consult other partners to ensure security situation of planned locations is calms;
∎ Safety and Security:
∎ Ensure risk assessment and share security information;
∎ Provide timely incident report to BNSK as needed;

∎ Minimum of 5 years of finance and accounting experience, including finance, accounting, audit, and analysis (including gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to management and external stakeholders).
