∎ Currently FES Bangladesh is recruiting a Finance and Admin Assistant on short-term basis for a maximum period of nine months. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial & Accounting tasks: 1. Certify correctness of vouchers, bills, statement of accounts and other financial statements;
∎ 2. Manage banking transactions as per need, including preparing bank transfer requests, submitting them to the bank, monitoring transfers and preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements and reporting;
∎ 3. Assist in Tax & VAT issues when needed (e.g. Preparation & submission of challans, return forms or periodical statements as required time to time by respective government offices);
∎ 4. Maintain petty cash transactions, including writing receipts, preparing payment request forms, disbursement of cash and clearance of advances;
∎ 5. Support external Audit in cooperation with the Finance & Admin team of FES Bangladesh;
∎ Administrative tasks: Support in purchase of office materials for FES Bangladesh office;
∎ Maintain the Inventories and asset management system of FES Bangladesh;
∎ Support overall administrative activities of FES Bangladesh with the Office Manager;
∎ Support in necessary tasks related to DC office, NGO_AB & Government offices;
∎ Assist in preparation of work plans and reporting of activities;
∎ Secretarial support to workshops, seminars and trainings when needed;

Additional Requirements:
∎ preferably 2-3 years experiences in financial, accounting and administration, preferably with international development organization; recent graduates with excellent marks are also encouraged to apply
∎ Sound knowledge on administrative and accounting regulations and procedures and the Government Law of the country;
∎ Capacity of meeting deadlines, timely submission of acceptable deliverables, etc.;
∎ Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
∎ With excellent skills on the use of office software packages such as MS Word, Excel, Accounting software and Power Point;
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to foster FES team efforts;

Salary:
∎ As per organizational policy, a competitive compensation package will be offered.
