Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Nari Sramik Kendra (BNSK) is a development organization, dedicated to promote and protect rights of the migrant workers especially for women migrant workers through (i) Mass awareness campaigns for safe orderly and regular migration; (ii) Capacity building for potential migrants and socioeconomic reintegration of returnee migrants; and (iii) advocacy to promote and protect rights of the migrants and victims of trafficking.
∎ BNSK has been implementing a project titled Eliminating Migrations Induced Problems for Women Migrants with PROKAS, British Council to create an impact in service delivery in migration sector of Bangladesh. It plans to see the overall impact in women migration is -Reduced incidence of Modern Slavery of women migrant workers of Bangladesh through economic, social, and legal empowerment.
∎ BNSK is looking for a competent and self-motivated individual for the following position:
∎ Reporting to the Finance &Admin. Manager of BNSK
∎ The position is based in BNSK head office.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Office Assistant- Logistics & Support service
∎ Logistics and Admin Support:
∎ Arrange Logistics & Support service to mission team also includes organizing logistics for missions, travel arrangement, meetings, conferences and others special events;
∎ Performs procurement according to BNSK policy;
∎ Doing/Renewing Visa and security clearance of expatriate employees;
∎ Ensure timely payment of all utilities and others bills;
∎ Support to Administrative and Procurement team (Planning, forecasting, managing daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly);
∎ Do quarterly inventory sport check, surprise cash count verify warehouse journal and ledger entries such as warehouse release note, good received note etc.
∎ Contributing to the correct visibility and communication of the programme in line with the organisation's knowledge management and communication protocols.
∎ HR Support:
∎ Support to HR team all staff leave schedules keep all records accurately in collaboration with the program managers and others human resource related admin tasks;
∎ Asses and consult other partners to ensure security situation of planned locations is calms;
∎ Liaise with HR, logistics, admin, IT, procurement, and other units to facilitate smooth flow of programme related activities.
∎ Safety and Security Support:
∎ Support to supervisor for risk assessment and share security information;
∎ Support to supervisor for provide timely incident report to BNSK as needed;
∎ Financial Management Support :
∎ Maintain petty cash and actual expenditure of day to day operations of CLARISSA Hub
∎ Identify operational, administrative, financial and other bottlenecks that may impede smooth operations of the Head office recommend solutions and take appropriate remedial action
∎ Support Finance & Admin Manager in documenting regular progress and reporting, including provide substantive inputs in the preparation of the government reporting requirements
∎ Organizing / supporting programme events, meetings, multi-stakeholder workshops
∎ Organizing / supporting local, national and international travel for the programme team
∎ Maintaining effective relationships with key programme partners and programme teams to ensure smooth programme operations.
∎ Supporting the Finance & Admin Manager with monitoring and maintaining the risk register, and regular risk reporting

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 01-year experience in the field of NGO , migration etc.
∎ Skills and Competencies :
∎ Knowledge of custom protocol is an asset.
∎ Experience in stock management is an asset.
∎ Experience in procurement is an asset.
