∎ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in community development, disaster management, or related fields.
∎ Prior experience in conducting PRAs, FGDs, and community mobilization activities.
∎ Strong communication, facilitation abilities.
∎ Understanding of sustainable livelihoods, Agriculture, risk assessment, and disaster response.
∎ Gender-sensitive and inclusive approach in community engagement.
∎ Ability to work in remote locations and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and guide volunteers in implementing field activities.
∎ Ensure effective implementation of project interventions focusing on women's empowerment, social inclusion, and community capacity building.
∎ Organize training based on different interventions for the project participants.
∎ Visit farmer communities and local markets to monitor and collect real-time data on crop productions as well as identify potential opportunities and scopes.
∎ Monitor daily field activities and maintain regular communication with project beneficiaries and community leaders.
∎ Contribute to implementing gender mainstreaming in the program areas .
∎ Maintaining close coordination among camp authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Assist and conduct different types of surveys - baseline surveys, PDM, data collection and progress monitoring following M&E guidelines.
∎ Provide support at the community level for organizing events, workshop, meeting and training when required.
∎ Keeping records to assist preparing report, case studies and other documentation.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Uttaran is a national development organization working in the coastal region of Bangladesh since 1985 to uphold rights and entitlements and to improve the socio-economic condition of the poor and disadvantaged. Uttaran facilitates in getting access to and control over resources by the poor and disadvantaged to improve agricultural productivity and economic empowerment.
∎ Project Background:
∎ Uttaran with the assistance of Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation is implementing Nari Shakti Samaz Shakti (NSSS) project. The objective of the project is to establish a gender-transformative enabling environment that empowers women and marginalized groups to foster safer, inclusive, and resilient communities in the vulnerable contexts of Cox’s Bazar. The project focuses on protecting women and girls aged 10–35 in both host and refugee communities by enhancing resilience, reducing disaster vulnerabilities and creating alternative livelihood opportunities.
∎ Job responsibility:
