Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 87 on-going projects covering 209 upazila focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare and Community Development, ii) Quality Education, iii) Health Care and Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Development and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.

∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Cox`s Bazar is looking for suitable candidates (both female & male) for immediate appointment as well as to prepare panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mobilization of the community in the IDB center, in outdoor space or in shelter.
∎ Facilitation of different activities
∎ incorporating IDB tools and contents.
∎ Address the different public's needs and expectations and contribute to the design of activities and courses.
∎ In collaboration with Team Leader and other facilitators, identify priorities of the month and create the schedule off activities.
∎ Assist the Team Leader in building capacity of IDB volunteers.
∎ Plan activities, set up the space and welcome users.
∎ Guide the audience in the use of digital tools and different resources of the Ideas Box.
∎ Share feedback on contents and activities and suggest improvements.
∎ Report on implemented activities, collect and share key data on activities/courses
∎ Ensure daily management of the box (roll-out, tidying, handling, organization).
∎ Ensure the security of audience, activities and equipment within the Ideas Box space and during outreach activities.
∎ Document mediation in the Ideas Box, and share good practices in the Ideas Box community of practice.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Handling and working with digital tools such as tablets, computers, camera, and tape-recorder.
∎ 1/2 years' experience in same position.
∎ Previous experience with a cultural, educational or communitarian project.
∎ Experience in a camp or refugee context will be appreciated.
∎ Knowledge in facilitation techniques.
∎ Specific skills in theatre, art, music and books will be appreciated.
∎ Proficiency in Rohingya dialect is preferred.

Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
