Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Uttaran is an NGO working in Bangladesh since 1985 to uphold rights and entitlements and to improve the socio-economic condition of the poor and disadvantaged community people. Uttaran is a people-centered organization using a rights-based approach to alleviate poverty, diversify livelihood opportunities and empower poor communities of Bangladesh.
∎ Uttaran invites applications for the vacant position titled- Field Facilitator for some short-term Disaster projects.
∎ Job Title: Field Facilitator
∎ Reports to: Area Manager
∎ Employment Status: Contractual for the 3 months. Renew as per project need.
∎ Conduct Community at ward level/Union level beneficiaries
∎ Conduct PRA at community level
∎ Implement the risk assessment plan as per community need.
∎ Implement climate resilience measurement for communities
∎ Work for the sheltering
∎ Work for load and unload materials
∎ Work for transportation
∎ Work for Warehouse operation
∎ Distribution of goods and materials
∎ Work for FGD
∎ Work with Union Parishad chairman and other stakeholder
∎ Look after the Cash for work
∎ Support to relief work
