Educational Requirements:
∎ BA/BSc degree/Diploma in Fisheries/Agriculture/other relevant subjects.

Job Context:
∎ TMSS is a national level development organization. TMSS invites application from eligible candidates for the above post in the project named "Improved Livelihood Resilience of coastal fishing communities".
∎ Direct Supervisor: Project Coordinator.
∎ Project Duration: 01 Year.
∎ Supervise: Community Facilitators.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under supervision of the Project Coordinator, Field Facilitator will work in close coordination and consultation with the Research Associate of unit/upazila office of ECOFISH II, WorldFish.
∎ Support WorldFish team to form and operationalize the Women Income and Nutrition Group (WING) and Fisheries Conservation Group (FCG).
∎ Organize necessary training activities, meetings, and support Community Facilitator (CF) for proper implementation of project activities.
∎ Identify alternate livelihood options for fishing HHs, and help the household to undertake the AIGA plan.
∎ Ensure the critical inputs are provided to fishing HH to improve their livelihood resilience and monitor the households AIGA activities.
∎ Support vegetable seed distribution for nutrition-sensitive homestead horticulture and ensure year-round production and consumption of diversified food by fishing community.
∎ Regular HH visit and facilitate to develop AIGA and observe the status of other supports.
∎ Facilitate market linkage, develop linkage with different service providers/market actors and help them to solve their AIGA related problems.
∎ Ensure beneficiary HHs are recording expenditure and income from the AIGA.
∎ Provide support for all WING activities including changing their savings behavior and learning sessions.
∎ Conduct awareness building campaigns for compliance of fishing regulations and biodiversity conservation.
∎ Organize and support different national/international day's/weeks observation.
∎ Reporting & documentation of project program/activities.
∎ Assistance to WorldFish in conducting project evaluation.
∎ Minimum 80% of day's field visit to the assigned project area.
∎ Perform any other relevant task assigned by supervisor and project authorities.
∎ Support World Fish team during field visit of high officials
∎ Keep strong communication with ECOFISH's beneficiary and follow the instructions of WF's team when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At Least 3 years NGO field experience with livelihood/fisheries/aquaculture related development project.
∎ Job experience in coastal area will get preference.
∎ Good communication and facilitation skills with national NGO or donor funded project.
∎ Demonstrated success in project planning, volunteer supervision, financial management, program monitoring, and report writing.
∎ A strong understanding of gender equality and women's empowerment.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with beneficiaries and community facilitators (CF).
∎ Computer literacy particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet etc.
∎ Able to drive motorcycle with valid driving license.
∎ Skillful in swimming well get preference.
∎ Contractual, as per Project Duration with possibility of extension depending on performance and fund.

Salary: Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
