Experience:
Master’s degree from any recognized university.
At least two years of experience in community development work and outreach activities, preferably in the Rohingya camps.

Strong public speaking skills.
Proficiency in the Chittagonian and Rohingya dialects.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in community outreach activities.
Knowledge of protection principles in humanitarian work.
Experience in organizing community-level events and sessions.
Excellent facilitation skills for conducting events and sessions within communities.
Experience in report writing.
Willingness to undertake approximately 80% field movement.
Good understanding of the host community and Rohingya camp contexts in Cox’s Bazar.
Ability and readiness to travel to hard-to-reach areas, carrying program support materials and logistics as per work plan.
Strong communication skills to liaise with officials from local government agencies and NGO stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, KoBo Toolbox, WhatsApp, and other relevant tools.
Effective communication skills in both English and Bengali
Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) (<www.ypsa.org>) is a sustainable development organization operating in the Greater Chattogram Division (including the Chattogram Hill Tracts) and part of the Dhaka and Sylhet division, established in 1985, the International Youth Year. Since June 2018, YPSA has been implementing the project titled “Prevention and Response Activities Implementation on Counter Trafficking Issues” in both the host community and the Rohingya camps of Cox’s Bazar. This project is supported by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). YPSA is inviting competent candidates to apply for the following position.
Job Location: Ukhiya (Host Community and Camps) and Cox’s Bazar Sadar, Cox's Bazar
Duration: 4 months (September to December 2025); High possibility of contract extension
Implement project activities as a front-line worker, ensuring effective delivery and outreach.
Organize and facilitate sessions on counter-trafficking awareness in the host and Rohingya communities of the project catchment area.
Support the planning and execution of major project events as needed.
Collect information on potential victims of trafficking (VoTs) at the community level.
Assist the Case Management Unit in identifying and managing cases involving (potential VoTs within the project area.
Coordinate and liaise with diverse stakeholders, including youth groups, community leaders, Majhis, union and relevant stakeholders at union and upazila levels, and local government, to facilitate events and secure support for VoTs through a referral mechanism.
Participate in events and meetings organized by other relevant stakeholders within the project catchment area.
Perform any additional tasks as required to support the project and organizational goals.
