Responsibilities & Context:
∎ SaRa Lifestyle Ltd, a member of SNOWTEX Group the premier fashion brand in Bangladesh is looking for Fashion Design Manager for Knit wear Men’s department.• Lead the design and development process for men’s knitwear collections.• Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative designs that meet market trends and customer expectations.• Ensure design concepts align with brand identity and strategic goals.• Conduct regular market research and trend analysis to stay ahead of emerging styles, colors, and fabrics.
∎ • Analyze competitor products and customer preferences to inform design direction.
∎ • Explore new materials, technologies, and techniques in circular knitting to enhance product offerings.
∎ • Drive sustainable design practices, focusing on eco-friendly materials and processes.
∎ • Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality outputs.
∎ • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and merchandising, to ensure cohesive product development.
∎ • Oversee the creation of technical design packs, including detailed specifications, measurements, and construction guidelines.
∎ • Work closely with the technical team to ensure accurate fit, quality, and functionality of final products.
∎ • Liaise with local and international suppliers to source materials and trims that meet design and quality standards.
∎ • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
∎ • Ensure all products meet the brand’s quality standards through rigorous quality control checks.
∎ • Address and resolve any design or production issues that arise during the sampling and manufacturing process.
∎ • Manage the design budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining design integrity.
∎ • Monitor and control expenses related to sampling, materials, and production.
