Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities – Country Expert Counselor (UK, NZ, Canada, Malaysia, Australia)

1. Student Counseling & Guidance

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date counseling to students on study options in the UK, New Zealand, Canada, Malaysia, and Australia based on their academic background, budget, and career goals.

  • Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities, courses, and intakes.

  • Guide students on eligibility criteria, entry requirements, and career prospects for each destination country.

2. Application Processing

  • Manage end-to-end application processes: course selection, document collection, application submission, and offer letter follow-up.

  • Ensure applications are error-free and submitted within deadlines to partner institutions.

  • Track application status and communicate updates promptly to students.

3. University & Institutional Relations

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with university representatives, admissions officers, and partner institutions in respective countries.

  • Stay updated on new courses, scholarship opportunities, tuition changes, and admission policy updates from partner universities.

  • Attend university webinars, training sessions, and updates to remain a certified/knowledgeable country expert.

4. Visa & Documentation Support

  • Guide students through visa application requirements specific to each country (Student Route visa – UK, Study Permit – Canada, Student Visa – Australia/NZ, Student Pass – Malaysia).

  • Assist in preparing Statement of Purpose (SOP), Letter of Recommendation (LOR), financial documents, and other required paperwork.

  • Coordinate with visa consultants/documentation team to ensure compliance with embassy requirements.

5. Pre-Departure & Post-Admission Support

  • Conduct pre-departure briefings covering accommodation, travel, banking, and cultural orientation.

  • Support students with health insurance, airport pickup coordination, and initial settlement guidance.

  • Maintain contact with students post-departure to ensure smooth transition and gather feedback.

6. Research & Compliance

  • Stay informed on immigration policy changes, visa rule updates, and education trends in assigned countries.

  • Ensure all counseling and documentation align with current government and institutional regulations.

  • Report market trends, competitor activities, and student feedback to management.

7. Record-Keeping & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate student records in the CRM system, including application status, communication logs, and document tracking.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on enrollments, conversions, and pending applications for management review.
