We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Executive/Senior Executive - Commercial Import to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in handling commercial import processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in accordance with regulations, and supporting the overall commercial function of the company. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing import documentation, liaising with customs authorities, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the end-to-end import process including LC opening, amendments, retirement, and documentation.
- Communicate and coordinate with banks, C&F agents, customs officials, and suppliers.
- Prepare and process all import/export-related documentation (PI, PO, LC, TT, BOE, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to commercial operations (e.g., BSTI, Customs, VAT, and IRC/ERC renewal).
- Maintain regular liaison with relevant government and semi-government bodies for permits, clearances, and regulatory updates.
- Follow up on shipment status, freight booking, and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Monitor inventory level and forecast raw and packaging material requirements.
- Work closely with the warehouse and accounts departments for invoice reconciliation and goods receiving processes.
- Prepare reports on procurement costs, shipment status, and supplier performance.
